August crème de la crème (belated) (opens the original)
Read excerpt
I apologize for delivering it to you only now, but I was mostly away from my home and therefore, my computer. I saw so many beautiful things, saved so many beautiful things and here they are.<img alt="" class="sizing-normal" height="1158" src="https://substackcdn.c
Sifnos guide (opens the original)
Read excerpt
Sifnos was dry and hot, and unbelievably beautiful. We arrived by ferry in the evening and stayed six nights at the camping. To be honest, by now, the prices on the island are rather absurd, and to make up for the discomfort, we rented a car. That was the best investment and I fully recommend it. Because of it, we were able to stop at every church and monastery and that was the best part of our visit. Athens guide (opens the original)
Read excerpt
It’s rather a short guide, as we went to Athens only for a couple of days before heading to Sifnos, but I hope it’ll be plenty for those in transit, just like us. As it was August, most of the iconic places like Diporto were still closed, so I’ll have to come back for this experience. This guide is very short, but hopefully it’ll prove itself useful to those in need of spending one fulfilling day in Delhi.<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" href="https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!YeqN!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post
July's crème de la crème (opens the original)
Read excerpt
July was emotionally tough, but I did survive. Not only personal struggles, but also the heatwave and crazy temperatures. Yearly trip to the lake in the north of Poland definitely helped in the process. Now I’m already waiting for the August holidays in Greece and looking forward to the plum season. To quote one of my favourite Georgian movie directors Otar Iosseliani: “The thing we all have in common is that we’re always thinking about holidays.”"As every month, I’m writing a list of the things
