EASTPOINTE — Eastpointe firefighter Owen Scriver wasn’t born yet when the tragedy of Sept. 11, 2001, took the lives of nearly 3,000 people just going about their day. Scriver, 22, learned about the terrorist attacks when he was in kindergarten.
