I was successfully trained by my parents to be Positive, so when I do these drawings the morning after the day described, I often depict the moments of happiness amid the day and night’s 24 hours, which are much more emotionally mixed than the drawing might suggest. The in-between times can be filled with fatigue, loneliness, hunger, laziness, anxiety and disorder. I try to draw the full picture but it’s hard to draw what isn’t focussed.
