Love, The Airport
Things I didn't know; things that made me laugh; things I'm doing you can come to, buy, watch or listen to; things I've come across; things I've written. And too many animals.

Thirty-Eight Men in Twelve Boats (opens the original)
Read excerpt
I really like the book Three Men in a Boat, by Jerome K. Jerome. The best bits are still very funny for a book written in 1889, and the worst bits are really easy to skip. Also, I grew up with it, and have very fond memories of my Dad trying to read me the bit about Montmorency’s fight with the tea kettle, and not being able to get through it for laughter. Apologies for the longer than usual gap - the truth is I’ve been utterly preoccupied with The Traitors.I don’t mean the exciting new five play cycle ‘The Traitors - Acts of Betrayal’, opening at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London next year, for which tickets are now on sale, and by the way you do NOT need to see all five plays- or even more than one play- to enjoy it, each play stands entirely alone.<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" href="https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!iKhC!
