On October 14th, 2008, New York band Secret Machines released their self-titled third album. It was their first album without founding guitarist Benjamin Curtis (brother of frontman, Brandon). Benjamin had been dating Alejandra Deheza of New York dream pop outfit School of Seven Bells (SVIIB), a band he was also in along with Deheza’s twin sister Claudia.
