Steps Towards the Door (opens the original)
Read excerpt
Over these past 19 weeks, the children and I have made our way through the most difficult pathway with an integral piece of our hearts many, many miles away. Love Can Be Brave (opens the original)

Sort of like a favorite blossom found and pressed inside of a book to dry and keep for later. This piece also understood something I have hoped readers would feel beneath the story's surface.
