ROCK POOL One of the portable displays for country schools which I made at the Canterbury Museum. The background of the display was cast in epoxy resin from a latex mould. To make the mould I had to be ready at a Banks Peninsula rock pool as the tide was dropping, because the whole mould had to be finished and fully set before the tide came in again. The most difficult part was making casts of sea anemones. <a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" href="https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s

Instead of food we had brought a stack of clean plates to a 'Ladies, a plate please' party of the tramping club and we had invited people we met somewhere to come and see us, using the wrong kind of phrase, so they never turned up.
