Leaving Middle Age

Middle age is considered to be ages 45 to 65. So what happens at 66? Every bit of research I conducted says the correct term to describe someone after age 65 is “old.” OLD? Seriously. I don’t feel old. I don’t want to be considered old. So, now what?
