(If you saw the TV series LOST, this will be nostalgic. If you never did, then this will give you a good sense of its weirdness. That show provides an excellent jumping off point for an exploration of why we think about “Fate vs Free Will” — and why we might want to stop doing that. BTW the paid version of this Substack includes audio read by the author, early release, and other occasional fantastical perks.)<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" href="https://substackcdn.com/i

(This is a dark one. These essays are responses to questions I am asked from across the “liminal” developmental, transformational, integrative, transdisciplinary and regenerative communities and it was fun to go lurid. As usual the paid version comes out earlier, includes an audio version & occasional extra perks.)<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" href="https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!HDOw!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsu

The Nietzsche Book (opens the original)

    Excerpt · Neutral tone

    Read excerpt

    I. Buy My Nietzsche BookI just wrote a book about Nietzsche. It is called Nietzsche, All-Too-Nietzsche (2026). That title echoes his famous volume Human, All Too Human (1878). Originally, I was moved to simply call this text Moustache. I still think that is a wonderful title but only a few outrageous weirdos would guess it was about Nietzsche. This book was a real pleasure.
