    DES MOINES — The Iowa Attorney General's Office has concluded that the June 10 fatal shooting of Michael Douglas Zurek by a Deputy U.S. Marshal was legally justified, closing a criminal investigation into the officer-involved death. The determination was made following an investigation by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, which reviewed body camera recordings, witness interviews and evidence from the incident. Kyle Ocker is the editor of the Ottumwa Courier and the Oskaloosa Herald.
