ABILENE, Texas — The Food Bank of West Central Texas has surpassed its fundraising total from September 2025 with nearly two weeks remaining in its Million Meal Challenge. As of the morning of Sept. 16, the food bank had raised more than $68,000 during Hunger Action Month, enough to help provide about 340,010 meals for people facing hunger across West Central Texas.
