August proved to be the month I read the most; in an effort to reduce my screentime before bed, I’ve begun listening to audiobooks on Libby through my two library subscriptions. So far I’ve only listened to poetry collections, although I have just begun a P. G. Slowly building my reading stamina back up. In comparison to other years it has been incredibly difficult this year to match my usual pace. This is, of course, perfectly fine. I do not need to read so many books a year, but I do always feel like there is a widening void within me when I’m not reading voraciously. Literature is a lifeblood. If you’re wondering how I managed to build up stamina again this month, I made a reading timetable so I can tick off reading, at least two of my books, daily.
