I love to go in blind to a book! I feel like it’s the truest way an author can gift you their words, but I made a mistake here.Going in blind to this particular book was a bad idea — I was completely caught off guard by how raw Kim Thúy’s words would be and I pretty well wept for 2 hours and 59 minutes, drying my tears to stop and do small tasks as needed.
