There is a shift in the air. The first whispers of autumn coming, you can smell it, feel it. I am discovering new places to walk here and I found a beautiful woodland a mile from our house. As we stepped into the woods, there was a dampness, mist and chill I’d not felt here before yet. Cobwebs crossing the path, that earthy smell that starts as the earth turns her way towards Autumn and winter slumber. I was excited by that feeling, I ran home and made an autumnal wandering badger!
