A while back, I read an article on substack that I can't find anymore. It was talking about this book series by Len Levinson called Rat Bastards. It's about a squad of unkillable misfits in WWII who do what soldiers do. I'm deep in revisions on my dinosaur military scifi, and I wasn’t happy with the combat scenes. They felt too … girl-written.
