NACOGDOCHES â A Lufkin man will spend the rest of his life in prison after being convicted of fatally shooting an 18-year-old Nacogdoches man in a plot to steal drugs. Marvin H. Montalvo on Friday was found guilty of capital murder and three counts of aggravated robbery in the 2024 shooting death of Angel Bonilla after a weeklong trial in the 420th District Court.
