Marlow kicked off Americaâs 250 birthday Saturday morning with its Fourth of July Celebration. The traditional celebration, since 1892, began at 9 a.m. with an old-fashioned, small-town parade with classic cars, bicycles, bands, horses and horse-drawn wagons. A full dose of summer came to locals once again at the community gardens as kids and families released 40,000 ladybugs into the garden beds last Friday night.
