    A little over a year ago Dawson and I packed up all that we had crammed into our - at one point just his, (for more on this read farewell, boy house) - bedroom, boxed up all the kitchen tools and bathroom supplies, and moved the ten minutes across town three times back to back with four cars helping. I know that although I cherished my time at what I dubbed “Boy House”, I felt uncomfortable in who I was, what I had, and the impact the proximity had on my relationship with Daws.

    Before writing was something I dreamed of, there was reading to escape with. This year to combat the lack of reading I had been practicing as a young adult, I set out with the goal to read 12 books and 5,000 pages this year.
