This is a series where I pair my photography with a poem I like.I have a folder in my Dropbox called “nb collected delights.” I decided to scroll through it today, only to find this poem saved and dated September 23rd 1972. I wondered about Anne 54 years ago, nearly to the day. If it was warm in her room, what she had eaten recently, if she wrote this poem as the day began or perhaps weeks before and it was simply the day she decided to stop writing it.
