Dear Friend of Global Health Conversations,It has been a while since we discussed GLP-1s and semaglutides outside of the quarterly financial disclosures. It was a bit of an ongoing thread (see archives) culminating in this edition about Novo Nordisk allowing their patent to lapse, allegedly due to non payment, in Canada last summer. The predictions then were that the July 2025 lapse would open the door to generic entry in 2026 and that is exactly what happened.
