Franklin County commissioners have approved three property tax rates for 2026, with one decreasing from last year and two remaining the same. For the countyâs general fund, commissioners approved a 2026 rate of 10.87 cents per $100 property tax valuation. For the road and bridge fund, a 19.57 cents per $100 valuation was approved Sept. 15, while the rate for the Senate Bill 40 Resource Board, which provides services for people with developmental disabilities, is 9.08 cents per $100 valuation.
