Hello Carousellers, I have a great tip for when people ask you, ‘what are you up to at the moment?’You don’t have to say everything. You don’t have to freeze in overwhelm. You don’t have to list all the hobbies, side-hustles, main hustles, half-hustles [but my God, don’t we try?!]My tip is this: just share one thing that you’ve done recently, or that’s coming up, that you actually want to talk about.People do not need a day by day account of your life.* They just want to be in an energising conver

Hello Carousellers, I hope you’re having a gorgeous back to school time, and that the autumnal turning is feeling okay. That would be very nice, thank you.’‘You gotta work, b*tch.’ ‘Ohhhh… really?!….ffs’Recently I signed up to a business course, which I hoped would re-shape some structures in my business after a bunch of work got cancelled last year. And it’s been nothing short of existential. Not intentionally.
I had four days without my phone... (opens the original)

It started in lockdown. If I’m really honest, it started because there was someone in my life at the time that I needed to be in less contact with and so one day, I took a ‘tech free Thursday’ to have a break from my phone (and them…)I turned off my phone on Wednesday night and didn’t turn it on again until Friday morning.I had two rules for this day:No tech - so no phones, laptops, tv or radio. But I did say yes to using an oven to cook.I was not allowed to make any plans of how to use my day.T
