#119 - One Pan Dinners (opens the original)
Read excerpt
Hi Feeder gang!I remember reading a piece online a few months ago (though I can’t remember where), where the writer was lamenting the amount of time, space or ease optimised recipes coming out these days. 15 minute recipes! Airfryer recipes! One pan recipes! The writer seemed to think that such things took the joy out of cooking. I disagree. Although I am not a person who has historically cooked this way, I still completely see the appeal of solution-based recipes, and I don’t think that recipes
#118 - It’s Corn! (opens the original)

Hi Feeder gang!Do you also still have this corn song in your head from many years ago? Cos same.It is now that wonderful time of year that is CORN SEASON!! Longtime subscribers will know that I love cooking with corn. There is something nostalgic and comforting about it. We eat a lot of corn when we are children, which for some reason then makes lots of adults balk at the idea of eating it. To many people, corn seems to be infantile somehow? Hi Feeder!A feeling is taking me over the older I get, and that feeling is that I want to be a good member of my community. #116 - Salads That Will Actually Fill You Up (opens the original)

Hello Feeder gang!I’ve probably whinged about this before over here, but I generally get pretty sad at the idea of a salad for dinner. Maybe it is something to do with the fact that salad in the UK has historically not sprung to mind anything very inspiring (some iceberg, tomatoes and cucumber, perhaps?), or the fact that salads can sometimes have a diet culture skew which means they are just not filling in the slightest. I need my dinner to fill me up! I need carbs! I need protein! The food you
#115 - In Defence of the Air Fryer (opens the original)
Read excerpt
Hello Feeder gang!Like a lot of people who work in food, I had a deep skepticism towards air fryers when the craze first began. I didn’t have the space or the inclination to have another bulky piece of kit that was basically just an oven. I had an oven! I liked my oven! But things have changed. I got approached by a kitchen brand to do some work with an air fryer, and thought maybe it was time I tested one out to see if it felt authentic for me to do the job. Reader, I instantly loved it.
