Colossians Week 29 - Full Fellowship: “Outsiders” (opens the original)
Read excerpt
If Paul’s job is to make the “mystery of Christ” clear, it is the Colossians’ job (and ours) as well. Paul tells us we must also learn to speak with grace and use every opportunity to do so. Beginning in prayer for others, listening to their stories, sharing meals, serving each other, and sharing the good news of Jesus are ways we can bless them and grow in maturity. We see the same themes of our own story mirrored in Isaiah’s: creation, the brokenness of sin, and the hope of redemption through Christ. Colossians Week 27 - Work As Worship (opens the original)
Read excerpt

When we think of ministry, we also often think “inside the church.” We forget that all of our lives—including our jobs—are also worship. We tend to see our work as a necessity to put food on the table and forget that God has an interest in our jobs. Work was given as a gift and is part of our design.
