MID-CITY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A pedestrian was hit and killed early Monday morning on the 10 Freeway in Mid-City, forcing the closure of several westbound lanes. The incident was reported around 3:45 a.m. near Vermont Avenue. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
