    Sometime in 2025, I moderated a focus group discussion with several young Nigerians who were regular users of fintech apps to gather qualitative data for a health economics paper. The crux of the discussion was to understand their preferences for digital healthcare. The discussion drifted to telemedicine, and I was surprised to learn that they considered it a must-have.
