Wild rice harvesting is underway in Northern Saskatchewan. Garth Muirhead has been busy harvesting wild rice at Meeyomoot Lake, which is about 70 kilometers south of La Ronge. He began harvesting Sept. 1 and expects to continue until the end of the month.
