Welcome back to ME. I am three days returned from Burgundy Tour 2026. The group had a great time. Fine wine was drunk, great food consumed, trails hiked, ebikes ridden, cases purchased. Anyway, here’s an iconic picture from the trip. From, where else, Romanée-Conti. <div class="image2-inset

Welcome back. As you read this I’m probably sipping Chambertin and nibbling on Fourme d’Ambert. Of course, everything in moderation. I’m in Burgundy at the moment so my replies to your replies may be delayed. Before I took off I wrote a piece about an engaging husband/wife team making delicious Napa Valley wines. Visiting everywhere. Drin

This is a month earlier than normal, even for sparkling wine.” Cabernet isn’t far behind with Valley floor harvest happening next week.EVENTSFourth Fridays at FolkloreFriday, August 28
Bohème 2023s are outrageously good...here's a winery-direct deal for my members. (opens the original)

Today’s wine recommendation is for everyone. The discount code is only for my members. I just drove out to Bohème Winery in Occidental with one of my members to taste the 2023s and boy do they rock. Kurt Beitler is the everything behind Bohème. He farms the vineyards he sources…owns one of them as well. Makes the wines in Occidental where you’ll find the Bohème tasting room in the center of the tiny town. What’s also tiny is his production. 100 cases of this, 120 cases of that, and so on. The wi
