About a year ago, I published an entry in this blog series about how songs have power. I highlighted music artists pushing back on the current state of the world. In the comments, one of my friends mentioned that I’d missed Jesse Welles. I hadn’t – quite. But all I’d seen by then were short reels on Facebook while watching with my dog Tess (really – she loves watching reels with us).
