Happy Friday, Consumers. I’m back with the Friday Five, your weekly round-up of cathartic, weird, and joyful bits and bobs from the internet and my weary brain. I'm feeling a (new variation of) malaise with social media as of late: I'm overloaded with content from every direction and have very little desire to engage with most of it. Which makes writing this newsletter hard! But we’re here, and we move. Getting straight into it with a song. Duncan Sheik passed away yesterday, he was only 56. He

Consumers, we somehow made it through another week, to another Friday, to yet another weekend. I’m back with your Friday Five that’s landing in your inbox on a Saturday because I messed up my scheduling! And I’m here to remind you that you can eat a perfectly ripe tomato like an apple. It’s best done over the kitchen sink with a container of flaky salt nearby to add to each bite. Now let’s get into your weekly roundup of joyful, cathartic bits and bobs: The song of the week is

Greetings, Consumers. It’s Friday and I’m back with your roundup of joyful, cathartic content from across the cobwebby corners of the digital universe. it’s taking everything in me not to make this whole thing about eclipses and natural phenomena. I really relish in the moments where we all look up, in collective disbelief and awe, and turn into children again. I wish the sky would do something funky just a tiny bit more, still retaining the rarity and mystery of it but giving us another reason t
