A slow August start off on the first with classic rockers Foghat at Feather Falls Casino in Oroville The band was Formed in London in 1971as a boogie blues outfit with a focal point around the slide guitar. It then quickly relocated to The States after getting a record deal the nest year. Only drummer Roger Earle remains from the heyday of “Slow Ride” and “Fool for the City,” but the blues are still strong. Jason Joshua brings his modern soul to the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Big Room on Aug. 7.
