It’s officially fall - are you ready? (opens the original)

Happy Autumn! It’s here - the crispness in the air, the chill in the morning, the change of leaves 🍃 🍁 🍂 . I am thrilled - I can finally wear the clothes I have been wearing all summer with greater vigor and joy rather than wearing them with a feeling of disappointment in the missing sun and subsequent warmth. And of course, with a change of season comes the excitement to get new pieces and build out a new wardrobe. But that’s not realistic, both from a financial sense and from a physical space.
Have you heard of Buff Beauty? It’s kinda amazing! (opens the original)

I want to avoid using terms like Girl Math or Retail Therapy in a derogatory way to how women shop. And it’s not like men don’t spend money. My husband spend on golf and tennis and ski-things and I get a hair clip, a lippy, some new shorts. Net-net we all spend. Anyways, can you please indulge me while I share a bit about what I

This is a long (but good) one so your email might cut it short. Highly recommend you open it in the Substack app if it does feel truncated! Welcome to From My Closet, a new series I am kicking off in this newsletter about what people actually wear based on what’s hanging in their closet, not what’s on the wishlist. This started from wanting to see the outfits people actually reach for again and again, the pieces that just work. We all have a formula of some sort in our head for the various occasi
