My last post was titled “Not without my daughter” and in it I talk about how my life has been quietly preparing me for my calling of motherhood and the loss of our daughter Anoushka. I ended that post with the following quote “I hope what’s happened to you, doesn't happen to me”.In Hinduism, the concept of Dharma, duty, is the call to respond to what is before us to the best of our abilities. We won’t be able to get everything right but what matters is the intention and essence of our response.
