    I grew up Episcopalian, which meant going to church every Sunday, and each week our reward for sitting through an hour and a half of sermons and stale bread was going out for dim sum. Forget church wafers—steamed BBQ pork buns are the true Bread of Life. It occurs to me now that this was probably an unusual family tradition, but to me it made perfect sense, indulging in a celebratory family-style meal after praying for the Forgiveness of Sins.
