When You Need Ice Cream (opens the original)
Read excerpt
I was recently talking with a good friend who had just returned from dropping her daughter off at college for her sophomore year. I knew what I was in for this time.”We had both brought our girls to college last year and shared how difficult it was. At first, it was primarily a place to take small kids on hot summer days. It became a place for summer playdates and overtired-kid tantrums at the snack bar.
