There is no single right answer in editing, so you can spend as much time on it as you like.Once I could take photos reasonably well, I began spending a lot of time editing them. Then as now, I mainly use Lightroom Classic.For a while, I edited with VSCO Film, a preset that was widely used at the time, and lifted the shadows. I liked the look then.
