Dear diary,I was worried about having a hard time coming down from the exhibition, that maybe the exhibition finally being open would force me to think about other things I’d been putting on the back burner. But it’s been the opposite, which is a relief. I am sleeping much better (which has slowed my reading of My Cousin Rachel) but, having a reasonable night’s sleep makes a huge difference to my levels of anxiety. While I’m still going to bed freakishly early and don’t get a lot of down time on

Dear diary,Wow. I did it. That was genuinely one of the best, but most physically and mentally taxing weeks of my life. It’s Tuesday, I just put Seren down for a nap and I’ve made a chai. Dear diary,Had a solo day with Seren today and… phew. Can’t believe we made it to bedtime. I’m quite tired at the moment. I knew it would be a mad couple of weeks and I’ve been proven correct. I

I was just thinking about how I want to be better at ‘being online’ but can’t seem to shake the way I’ve always done it, even though what’s expected of ‘being online’ has changed so much.Best Wishes by Minna Gilligan is a reader-supported publication. Dear diary,I’ve been seeing a psychologist recently. Obviously I’ve seen psychologists in the past, but it’s been a while. In the past, when I’ve seen other psychologists, I would get extremely anxious about speaking with them. An upcoming appointment would be a constant thorn in my side. Kind of like how I felt about Primary School swimming lessons. The relief I’d feel when each of these events ended was of the same. The ending was longest time before the next time. I’m not sure why I felt this
