    I came to the woods today with a plan to do some drawing, to create, to ‘do’. As I walked into the summer green, through the long grass, my body felt tired and heavy. The sketch books lay in a pile next to me and stayed there. I lay on the rug, the ground of the larch wood easing my back, my head processing all the information, all the activity of the last few days and then slowly began to still. So simple. So essential.
