One thing about me is that I really can’t help but see everything as connected. For much of my life, I tried to do that whole “compartmentalizing” thing: over here is my work and over here is my life and somewhere between them is supposed to be some sort of balance…apparently?It didn’t ever really work - everything has always bled back and forth pretty constantly. Poetry isn’t riddles - it’s just seeing things that kind of make sense but you’re not sure why or how, and maybe it’ll help somebody else to read/hear it. I’m pretty sure that’s it.This event was incredibly beautiful - Oscillator Press is like a little healing center for weirdos in our town, and it was their anniversary show which we were invited to be weird for.This was pure improvisation for the three of us, and it helped me figure out and remember something about who I am.thanks, Lauren and U
