Hans Nagel was a beloved, larger-than-life figure who was the Hermann Park Zoo (now Houston Zoo) zookeeper in the 1920s and 1930s. Only a couple more weekends to view this exhibition before it heads to the next venue! I was surprised by how many versions of Alice in Wonderland exist! There are over 20 different versions on display on the colorful tables in the center of the exhibit hall and there are another 30 that you can peruse in our reading nook.
