As is normal at this time of year and since I retired I take a break. This year in August I’ve had my grandson for 2 weeks taking him around places like Hampton Court and introducing him to Real Tennis. He was very impressed that Grandad had played ( my street cred went up though he refrained from asking if I played with Henry VIII) Then took him to Portsmouth to see Mary Rose and HMS Victory as well as showing him how to use chopsticks. Then we’ve been off to Cyprus to stay in a rented villa wi

Well it didn’t happen England are not going to the World Cup final. The nation starts to furl up the flags that have hung out of windows or lampposts (unless you happen to live in some Lib Dem councils).I watched the match and then the post match show when various pundits come on to give analysis either on where it went right or in this case wrong.Yes there were what the tabloids call the usual Argentinian dirty tricks in the first half which reminded me of a saying that a fight broke out around

Its been an incredibly busy month or so and so writing has taken a bit of a rest as has the muse but normal service will resume shortly. I could have asked the AI to draft something but I think that cheats both the writer and the receiver. Instead I got it to do me a picture<source type="image
