There is nothing better than escaping into a book, over a quiet pint in the pub, on the bus or train, in the bath, in bed, laying on a blanket in the park. The good think about books is that they are compact enough to take them anywhere. My self and my partner (fiancee as I now need to refer to her as) are both obsessive readers and collectors of books. On Friday night a friend of mine was playing an acoustic set in our local pub. He had invird a couple of friends to join him as guest performers.The ‘headline act’ Ryan played for the first half hour, Elvis, Lou Reed, the doors.. great guitar work, great singing.After half an hour he announced that he was going to call up a couple more singer/ guitar platers, and that there was going to be some spoken word.So he called up the first guest, Nate who powered through some Oasis, Stereophonics, Ocean
