A foreign owned fishing vessel that attacked a Shetland trawler five years ago has run aground off Orkney. The 17 crew on board the longliner Genesis were reported to have been airlifted from the vessel this morning (Thursday) after it hit rocks near to the Old Man of Hoy. Coastguard, RNLI and NorthLink Ferries vessel Hamnavoe were involved in the rescue. One of the coastguard helicopters attended from Sumburgh.
