This is a follow up to the a cappella.1 I wrote this verse in November 2020, after listing to Lianne’ La Havas’ self titled album, super inspired by the interlude, “Out of Your Mind’,” I wrote the verse above “Why He On The Moon.” I love the layers and mood of the track. It automatically pulled me in and I knew I wanted to write something to it.A the time of writing this verse, I was disappointed by all the happenings in the world at the time and also inspired by HBO’s Lovecraft Country</

Sharing the the musical insperation for the verse, “Why He On The Moon.” See the a cappella below.1I plan on doing a live take of me performing this verse with the loop. I took this video while testing out how I’d approach recording myself rapping to the loop live while capturing the video. The goal is to capture the vocals through the Shure SM7b Microphone, then clean up the vocals in my DAW (Logic Pro) then bring that over to Final Cut to make things line up and do my little video editing.
