I draw this distinction between these two roles: leaders are followed by people who trust them and even love them. They are inclusive and they respect the opinions of their followers, who in turn respect their leader’s decisions, while feeling free to disagree. Rulers demand loyalty and obedience and brook no disagreement from their followers, though they may take some advice from their close allies, though not always, even from those they have chosen as their immediate cabinet or crew.Thanks f
