When I was a little girl, my stepfather Marvin was a salesman at Aamco Transmissions. This fact alone is a remarkable relic from that time. I imagine that people were regularly buying new and used car transmissions back in the 70s and 80s, since his job was full-time, but I can’t imagine this is all too common today.
