A 17-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to attempted murder after he stabbed a man several times at a golf course in Staffordshire. The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, attacked the victim on a public footpath through the Stafford Castle venue on 14 May. The man, in his 60s, suffered critical injuries and had a series of operations in hospital before he was discharged, Staffordshire Police said.
