I Lost, But I Won Big (opens the original)

This past Sunday, members of ADHDBB and I played a card game. It’s a card game I invented called Two-Do. In it’s original form, it was built as a two player asynchronous card game. Every card in the deck represents a thing to do. There are also boon and thwart cards to make it more exciting. We were racing to see who could get through our deck of cards (tasks) first. Took us about a week. Then I modified it to do as a Sunday sprint. And holy shitballs did it work! We had 4 of us playing in total
Productivity Designed For ADHD (opens the original)

There are three things you need in order to do a thing, a task, an errand, whatever. The WhatYou have to know what you are doing. The ADHD difference lies in the specificity. Want a better shot at doing a thing, be specific. It’s easiest to use household examples but you can apply this to your work as well. “Clean the house” is vague as hell. “Clean the kitchen” is way more specific. “Empty and load the dishwasher” is super specific! Want something to be more likely to happen? Know what you are

Permission to Forget...Again...and Again (opens the original)

Turns out this is the third time I’ve written about giving ourselves permission to forget. Last article was back in May of 2025, so it makes sense that I forgot that I wrote about it! Here we go again. Wonder if I feel the same way. (Spoiler: I do)I’ve been coaching adults with ADHD on productivity for 6+ years now and still, to this day, I am guilt of trying to keep things in my head sometimes. What feels natural to me is to enjoy my day, float from thing to thing based on my whatever feels the
Planning Makes it Real (opens the original)

I had a conversation recently with my partner, Emily. I was talking about how I am really needing to get a morning walk in. She said she noticed that when I commit to something, I jump in pretty hardcore, but that I spend quite a bit of time in contemplation before I do the jumping. That is so true! Contemplation is the stage in behavior change when we know we want to make a change. We are ready, but we aren’t prepared to take the next step. The fact that she brought it up made me think on it fo
