SAXTON â In observance of the 25th Anniversary of the attacks on September 11, 2001, the Broad Top Senior Citizens held a memorial service Thursday at the senior center at Saxton. Fire of a undetermined origin detroyed two storage units in a series of units located in Hopewell Township (Huntingdon County) at the intersection of Broad Top Mountain Road (Route 913) and Weaverâs Falls Road shortly after 9 p.m. on Saturday of this past weekend. Saxton fire chief Ron Jenkins, Jr. said the two units were completely engulfed in flames and had vented through the roof when the first Saxton units arrived on scene.
