Malcolm Tulip has been involved in theater in Ann Arbor for almost 40 years. He worked with students at Community High, was involved in the Performance Network, and teaches courses at University of Michigan, where he is also head of the directing concentration and founder of the Interarts program. In this 2024 interview with AADL, Malcolm reflects on his many projects, the collaborators he worked with over the years, and discusses changes he has witnessed in Ann Arbor’s theater scene.
